BIG 500 ART SHOW NO. 2 - THE MOMENT NO. 2

In December of last year I participated in the Portland Big 500 Art show. It is an incredible annual event with over 500 local artists participating - each artist completes anywhere from 5 to 10 to 15 paintings, all sized 8x8 inches. The pieces hang next to each other on grid-like walls without any sort of title card or artist name and the artwork can be purchased right off the walls for only $40 with $10 of that going to a local cause, this year partial proceeds go to the Oregon Food Bank.

I love participating in these local events because It’s a great showing of a large community of people joining forces to support the arts and great organizations. I also am thrilled to be able to offer original work for ALL price points. This is not always easy or sustainable but because I participate in these events locally I want to share a similar experience with my online community.

I brought home 4 unsold paintings from last months show and over the past couple weeks I have put the finishing touches on 3 more... just for you.

This recent work is about the memory and experience of being in a place. The interchange between nature’s landscapes and the impression they leave in one’s mind.

Paintings are on manufactured wood panel, they are 8x8x0.5 inches in size. A frame is highly recommended.

Artist signature on front. Signed, dated, titled on back.
